Energy for special attacks is measured by a stamina bar located on the gameplay interface. There will be two players fighting each other, the player who is the first to inflict enough damage to totally deplete the health bar of a player will be the winner. Players will be fighting each other in order to have a planet crafted after their own image. Should the player win the fight, they will have an animation of their own and be shown a pathetic statement by the loser until the winning player begins the next fight. A taunt by the player who beat them will be shown (voiced?) while the loosing player is deciding if they want to continue. This will take the player to a screen giving them the option of either continuing or giving up. When the player loses a match, text showing that the player lost and an animation from the opposing player will begin and conclude with an exit of the location where the match was taking place.

When a player takes a hit their health bar will drain depending on the strength of the attack. Various character animations will take place depending on the individual character and the attacks that they launch. Once the player enters combat, they will notice a health bar, a stamina bar, and a timer showing how long the competitors have until the fight is concluded due to time. Exit will end the battle and restart the game. Attack list will show the player a list of the characters special attacks that require advanced button-press combinations. Style will allow the player to choose a fight style that they have allocated to the character, a maximum of two will be allowed. Resume will continue the game from the pause point. There will be several choices: Resume, Style, Attack list, and Exit. Upon pressing the pause button, players will not only stop the game temporarily, but will be met with a menu. Two characters will be seen in the interface, showcasing various attack, defense, and special attack animations based on button-press combinations done by the player(s). The gameplay interface will be a side-view 3d fighting game with 3d characters and backgrounds. Options will allow the player to change sound levels, difficulty, and button setups. Training Center will allow the player to practice special attacks, combos, and let the player choose the 2 fighting styles for their current character. Versus will give the player the option of fighting another player in 1-on-1 combat. The player will select a fighter and finish the game, revealing the character's unique story along the way. Tournament is basically the game's story mode. The main menu interface will have the options: Tournament, Versus, Training Center, and Options. Also, I added a new idea.picking a fighting style for your character right in the middle of a battle to keep an opponent on their toes. I just wanted to get everything we have so far onto the blog. When we assemble the final draft, we'll add to this and make it complete. I didn't bother putting in the story or characters because they're already on the blog.
